Bandit: Hi, Littles. What are you up to this evening?
Lila: (looking around innocently) Oh, you know, nothing much.
Me: Bandit?
Bandit: Yes, human?
Me: Lila has that look – like she is covering for you.
Bandit: She is just tired.
Me: So, you didn’t do anything you’re not supposed to?

Lila: We dumped all the hay out of the feeder.

Me: Well, that’s not so bad. Bunnies do that sometimes.

Lila: And then Bandit peed on it.
Bandit: You said you wouldn’t tell!
Lila: I can’t help it. I have a high moral standard.
Me: Thank you for being honest, Lila.
Bandit: In my defense, I had already peed on all of the hay in both litter boxes.
Lila: You should stop talking.
